PROCEDURE IN AVAILING CSC COMEX

1.Register a CSC COMEX user account

To register a COMEX account, applicants must:
a.Access the COMEX website www.comex.csc.gov.ph/user;

b.At the CSC COMEX website homepage, click the “Sign Up Now” button;

c.Fill out the data fields for account information, personal information, educational information, employment information, eligibility information, and other information;

d.Submit data created by clicking the “Submit” button;

e.Activate immediately the account by accessing the corresponding activation link sent by COMEX through a confirmation e-mail. (N.B.: COMEX confirmation e-mail may be found in the SPAM folder.)

Note: Information on available examination schedules may be accessed in two ways:

1.Through the COMEX website – at the COMEX website homepage, access/click the “Examination Schedules” tab; and
2.Through the registrant’s E-Mail, whereby, COMEX shall auto-send
an e-mail informing about examination schedules.


2.Reserve an examination slot online

To reserve an examination slot online, registrants must:
a.Access the COMEX website www.comex.csc.gov.ph/user;

b.Log in to the system with username and password;

c.View the examination schedules/online offerings through the “Examination Schedules” tab;

d.Select/choose the desired examination schedule from among the online offerings;

e.Make a reservation by clicking the “Reserve a slot” button;

f.Upon successful reservation, print the ‘slot reservation’ confirmation e-mail sent by COMEX, which contains the date, time and venue of examination and personal appearance.

Note: Applicants must NOT have taken the same level of Career Service Examination being applied for, either through the Paper and Pencil Test (PPT) mode or the Computerized Examination (COMEX) mode, within the last three (3) months
.

3. Confirm the reserved examination slot

To confirm the reserved examination slot, examination applicants must appear personally before the designated CSC Office on the scheduled date and time for the following:
Identity verification based on information provided during registration; System database verification; Payment of examination fee;
Capturing of digital photograph and signature, and biometric fingerprint; and Issuance of the CS ID.

Note:Applicants must bring the following requirements:
a.Original and photocopy of any of the following ID cards, which must be valid (not expired), and contains the name, clear picture, date of birth and signature of the applicant, and the name and signature of the issuing agency’s current head/authorized representative: Driver’s License, SSS ID, GSIS ID, Philhealth ID, current Company/Office ID, current School ID, Postal ID, BIR ID, Barangay ID, Voter’s ID, Passport, or Police Clearance (Any other ID card notincluded in the above list shall NOT be accepted.)

b.For applicants without date of birth in their ID card/s, original and photocopy of Birth Certificate issued/authenticated by the National Statistics Office

4.Take the examination

To take the examination, examinees must appear personally before the designated CSC Office on the scheduled date and time for the following: Orientation/briefing; System authentication of identity; Accomplishing of appropriate examination forms; and taking of the actual test.

Time limit:
CSE Professional– 3 hours and 10 minutes
CSE SubProfessional – 2 hours and 40 minutes


TEST RESULTS

Test results shall be available within two weeks after the date of examination. It shall
be released officially through posting of the list of passers in the CSC website.

COMEX FEE:

CSE Professional - PhP 600
CSE SubProfessional - PhP 600
